Grieving Children | Helping Children Cope with Losses During COVID-19 | Mental Talk Show

On Intake Talk Show, Bertha's Corner (The Mental Corner), Bertha is joined by special guest Reina Lombardi, LMHC, and Board Certified Art Therapist. Bertha and Reina discuss the grief that many children are experiencing due to COVID-19. They also discussed ways to stop the stigmas associated with mental health and educating individuals early on in life about the importance of mental health. During their discussion the two look at the ongoing need for therapists only in times of crisis and the possibility that the U.S. society will go back to ignoring and stigmatizing mental health once again after COVID-19 has run its course. 

Intake Talk Show is a YouTube mental health talk show that brings more awareness to mental health. The show's mission is to brand the significance of discussing those issues that affect the human psyche resulting in mental illnesses and psychological and emotional distress. Intake Talk Show provides a platform for mental health professionals to collaborate and advocate for mental health and stop the stigmas associated with mental illness. The show also provides a space for individuals struggles with various mental issues to share their experiences to assist with stopping the stigma.

Reina Lombardi, ATR-BC, ATCS, LMHC-QS is a Board Certified Art Therapist, Art Therapy Credentialed Supervisor, and Licensed Mental Health Counselor and the owner for Florida Art Therapy Services, LLC located in Ft.
