She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LMHC 15667 and Qualified Supervisor for Clinical Mental Health Counselor Interns, EMDR trained, Certified Integrative Mental Health Provider (C-IMHP), and a Nationally Certified Christian Counselor (NCCC).

Dr. Charity Godfrey is originally from South Jersey and brings her direct, pragmatic approach to her clients therapy through applying bibliotherapy (The use of literature to process stress/life traumas), EMDR therapy, CBT, and/or Inner Child Healing Work. Charity has over 13 years of clinical experiences counseling: adolescents, adults, couples, and families in various therapeutic settings for: Couples in Crisis, Addiction, Mental Health Diagnoses, Trauma, and Grief. Charity specializes in INNER CHILD healing work through the use of Bibliotherapy, which provides context for the healing journey of inner child, outer child, and adult self.
