I had been stalking my next guest on Instagram for a while before I ended up meeting her at a
3 day intensive Mandala training, created and taught by Carol Thayer Cox & Amy Bucciarelli that I had the great privilege of hosting at my practice in 2019. I was so excited when I realized that she was in my office space because I was watching what she created through her social media marketing. Ella Dufrene is an art therapist with a passion for integrating nature with her art therapy practice. She has created her practice offering expressive arts based retreat programs around the world. Although she is located in Miami, her retreats have been offered in Colorado, Georgia, Columbia, and Costa Rica. She shares about how she has taken imperfect action to create these retreats in her practice Lila Art Therapy.
